Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Spyke Automation ("we", "us") collects through spykeautomation.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run an early-access program and improve the site.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you request early access, we collect the email address you submit. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.
- Usage data. We use PostHog, hosted in the United States, to understand how
the site is used: the pages you view, the site that referred you, your device and browser,
and what you click.
- By default, PostHog sets a cookie so return visits are recognised, keeps a profile of your visits, and records them as session replays, including mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and anything typed into the site. It also records how fast pages load for you and builds heatmaps of where visitors click and how far they scroll. Your IP address is stored with your visits, and your approximate location is worked out from it.
- If you turn Analytics cookies off under "Manage your cookies", the cookie is deleted and session replay stops. Visits are still counted, but with no cookies and nothing stored on your device to identify you. Each visit is tied to an identifier that changes daily, and your IP address isn't kept.
- Hosting. Our host, GitHub Pages, may record standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site.
Cookies and similar storage
Unless you turn analytics cookies off, PostHog sets a cookie named
ph_<project key>_posthog, which lasts 365 days and is shared across
spykeautomation.com and its subdomains, along with related entries starting with
ph_ in your browser's local and session storage. Whichever answer you give in the
cookie prompt, entries in local storage remember it, so we don't ask again. We use no advertising cookies.
How we use information
- To contact you about early access and product availability.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our early-access program (for example, form, email, and hosting providers, PostHog for analytics, and Cloudflare, which carries analytics traffic to PostHog), and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep early-access emails until you ask us to remove them or until we no longer need them for the program. You can request deletion at any time using the contact details below.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@spykeautomation.com. Any product update emails will also include a way to opt out.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
